Common Things

The list you saw above is just a list. I believe everyone working with the Niche site has this list. But maybe it wasn’t organized. You all know more or less about basic SEO. You know the guest post. Isn’t it?

Anyways, it’s not our core concern. The main thing is a proper plan. A plan to lock or list a specific timeframe, a set-up. That’s what’s described here.

We have divided our total work into two parts for better understanding.

  • On-page SEO and
  • Off-Page SEO

The whole text will be rotated by the two sections within a specific timeframe.

I think this timeframe is the main issue. Therefore, if you have control over exactly what you do at a given time, the amount of success increases a lot. It’s something likewise you have to decorate it by yourself. But if you’re a full-time marketer, that’s a different thing. Or if you have enough time, it’s okay too. Then I talked to everyone separately to understand how dedicated they really are and how much time they actually have to work.

Because niche site is a thing where success is not possible just by investing money. You have to stick here with dedication. So, this thing is involved in the plan indeed.

My main product is the Niche site planning service, which I personally serve my client. Since I’m a student of film, I have to say that the most important part of making a film is pre-production. The better this pre-production is, the better the film is. Moreover, the faster and the less cost able to do it. According to renowned movie director Alfred Hitchcock, he performed 70% of his film work through pre-production only. So, you understand the importance of pre-production.

The Niche site planning is the same as the pre-production of a film. The more you can plan, the easier it will be. The cost will be comparatively low. You won’t lose your job. That’s why planning is really important. So, today I’m going to do this important task.

Note: Planning does not specify how keyword research or competitor research type will work. Planning means telling you how to do things step-by-step. Make a lineup for that path. I have a plan to write a separate article on keyword research or other works in the future.

So, I’ll write that line-up here. I hope you will admit its immense importance of it after reading the whole article. It is worth mentioning that Google does not organically rank any site overnight. Rather, if someone wants to rank the site faster by making desperate backlinks, the result becomes reverse. The site gets a penalty. So, it is not so good to do anything quickly in this field.

However, in today’s article, I’m going to tell step-by-step guideline about how to perform a niche site in 15 months from start to finish. I will arrange the timeline now. But in the beginning, I will briefly describe the issues of the timeline. Then I will give the approximate duration of the timeline. You can arrange them in an Excel sheet if you want.

I have divided the entire work into two steps. As: –

  • On-page steps
  • Off-page steps

On-page steps of A Niche site

As mentioned above, I allocated 15 months in my plan. So, here’s how I can do my work in these 15 months. Let’s give an idea of the steps on-page tasks at first.

1st step: Niche Site Idea Generation + Domain & Hosting Purchase

The first thing you need to do making a niche site is to find a perfect niche. Not a well-known and saturated niche. According to experts, in the affiliate market, there are still many niches that are beyond the reach of marketers.

Those of us who are new to the market, such as Newbie, certainly do not believe these things. Because, we can’t find anything that isn’t on the niche site. So are expert affiliate marketers saying wrong?

No. They are not saying wrong. In my written e-book ‘Niche Aid Blueprint’ I have written in detail, how to find a less used niche. If you have read that e-book, you will easily understand how to do that.

However, niche selection is a very time-consuming task. Finding a short or untouched niche is a tough job. So, here you can do one thing – work with a less used niche. But in that case, you have to spend a lot of time on keyword research. Finding low-competitive keywords will take a lot of time.

Buy a domain and hosting when your niche is selected. This will increase the age of the domain. If you have a specified niche then go to the next step without wasting time here. Be sure to check out my video tutorial before choosing a domain. So, I hope you can easily understand how to choose a domain. At the same time, you will avoid choosing the wrong domain.

Moreover, I have my own opinion about hosting. Once upon a time, I was a fan of Namecheap hosting. But after seeing their Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers last year, I’ve been reluctant to buy Namecheap’s hosting. At present, they host about three to four thousand sites on a single server. As a result, there are 503 server errors all the time. There is the matter of downtime as well. Their servers are now down, like taking paracetamol twice. This downtime has a huge impact on keyword rankings. This is something you must know.

According to these considerations, I am now aware of hosting. In light of my experience, I have written a hosting review named Hosting Solution for Niche Site. You can go through. Or you can watch the video below.

2nd step: Keyword and Competitor Research

Niche selection okay. Domain and hosting have also been purchased. Now we are going to enter the second step. The most critical and hard work is keyword and competitor research. If you make a small mistake here, your site will not be successful.

I work with low search volume and low competitor keywords personally. I have told the details in my e-book about how to find such keywords. If you have read it, you might know it.

Anyways, give a whole month in this step. Try to spend at least two hours every day. Thus, if you spend a month on keyword research, you will surely get some good keywords. I would like to suggest looking for money keywords at first and then informative keywords in the context of them.

3rd step: Article Plan; Prepare Instructions and Order

Another important chapter. Since the keyword has been finalized, do the article plan. The plan will include how to use a keyword, how many articles to place on the site, how to do a silo structure, etc.

Once this is done, get the instructions ready for the articles. You must spend a lot of time preparing the instructions. You have to do a lot of research and read on the topic that the writer will write about. Then you can easily identify what is not on your competitor’s site and what extra you can add to your site. This is very important.

Then Amazon’s product selection is another important thing for Money Articles. You have to decide how many product reviews you will give in your Money article. It is better to choose a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 products from Amazon. You also need to add them to the instructions.

When the instructions for Money Article is ready, order the writer. Then you have to get the rest of the instructions ready during this time. You have to do a lot of surfing then and you have to become an expert in your niche. Even if the writer gives wrong information, you can detect it quickly.

4th step: Website Design

Since the website will be created with CMS WordPress, it can be done easily here. People who do not know coding can also work in this sector. Therefore, designing a website is not difficult. You can create a beautiful site in just seven days for website design.

I use the Genesis framework on most of my sites. I also have a site with Generate Press. Most likely one or two very old sites have thrive themes. Due to lack of time, they remained in the thrive. I moved away from thrive a long time ago due to many complications. So, my recommendation is Genesis or Generate Press. Designing a site with these themes is quite easy.

Don’t forget to keep your site always clean and tidy. Lightweight, of course. For that, we have to work gradually. After approximately 70% of the articles are given on the site, you will move forward to the second step of site design. Then you will oversee the details of the site such as speed, responsiveness, HTML error fixing… etc.

5th step: Publish Articles with Proper Structure

Publishing articles on the site is a very time-consuming task and so you have to do it slowly with patience. After getting the article, read it first. If you find it easy to read, then take a look at the whole article and check it with Copyscape Premium. If you find it not plagiarized, then read each line slowly. If there is any correction, send it to the writer to fix it. See if the grammar is OK with Grammarly. But, don’t rely entirely on Grammarly. Initially, you can choose the Grammarly free version. Move to premium later if needed.

No matter how familiar, reliable and good the writer is, you should check every article properly. So, after checking line by line in this way, if you see that it is ok, then publish it on the site. You will also read each line over time while publishing. For example, even if there is a double space between two words, detect it, and make corrections. If there are one or two spaces in a line after a full stop, remove them. Use H-tags properly. Give the necessary as well as relevant image in the article. Break up the big paragraphs into small.

As much as you can work in this way, it will be perfect for you. Especially in the case of money articles, simple words and short paragraph articles are very important. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. You have to give lots of time to this issue.

Note: Whether the article is less expensive or more expensive or a local writer or a foreign writer or a native writer – these issues are relative actually. None is mandatory. The mandatory thing is that you have to manage quality articles.

6th step: Build up Proper Silo Structure

Once the primary article is published, build up a categorized silo structure. It seems urgent to me. The definition of silo structure simply refers to create a bond by interlinking similar category articles. It is done individually. I gave a guideline of how to do it on my site through a structure.

Notice the silo structure model below. Here the ratio of Money Article and Info Article is shown as 25% to 75%. You can do this up to 50% if you want.

Keep in mind that you have to interlink from info article to money article. Then the strength of the money article will increase. It will be powerful then. Do not interlink info articles from money articles. If you have to do it, just do it once and try to maintain maximum relevance.

According to my view, the following image is with the wrong silo structure. This was posted by a person in the Amazon Affiliate Bangladesh group who wanted to know if this silo structure is right or wrong. I said it there, I said it here also- The silo structure given in the screenshot below is wrong in my view.

7th step: Ensure On-page Detail Perfection

There are many small tasks in this step. But the two most notable are:

– The correct settings for the Yoast plugin

– Site speed optimization.

When these two things are done properly, the progress of the site goes a long way. Also, check the interlink or silo structure well. Maybe there can be small mistakes. Furthermore, you need to fix the image’s alter tag. Make sure that any deadlinks have not been misused. It is also important to see if the H-tag is properly maintained.

8th step: Regular Content & Add Update

This step is an ongoing process. So, it can’t be called a specific step. Therefore, this step means that your work is fairly complete. Now, to maintain the continuity of the site, you have to give regular content to the site or you have to update the old contents. Or you can do both. Note that, there is no difference between giving new content to the site and updating the old one. The difference is that if you update the old content regularly, you will not have to give new content. But, if you give new content on the site, you will have to update the old ones as well.

9th step: Website Maintenance

It is quite similar to step 8. You have to continue as long as the site lasts. The main task of this step is to read the regular updates of Google, change the site accordingly, modify, enhance, etc. These are the issues here. Also, whether there is a problem with hosting, regular uptime checking, whether the products are available on Amazon- these are also included in site maintenance. Even if your site is in regular downtime, it also affects Google’s rankings. So, this is also important.

Niche Site Off-page Steps

Now we will talk about the off-page steps of a niche site. We all know the off-page meaning. Off-page SEO is all that needs to be done for that site outside of a site.

We will talk briefly about the off pages tasks that we have included in our plan. Then we will move to the original planning “timeline” of the Niche site.

1st step: Basic Link Building

I will start the first step only when the on-page tasks of the site are fairly complete. Here are the first seven steps of on-page. When the first seven steps of the on-page are completed, we will start working off-page through the basic link building. Off-page includes:

– Social profiles

– Social Share

– Blog comment

– Forum profile

– Authority profile

– Authority website post

– Web 2.0

I have a long post about basic link building. So, I am not writing about them here anymore. If you get time, you can read it once. You will know the details. To read the article, click here: Basic Link Building Guidelines A to Z. Therefore, in this step we are moving to the second step without wasting time.

2nd step: Guestpost and Edit Links

In this step, we will talk about the guest post and edit links. Although there are multiple posts here about guest posts. I cordially invite you to read them from time to time. So I’m not writing anything new about guest posts here. I am giving a light idea about edit links. However, in the guest post chapter, I also described the edit links.

The edit link is to take the link from an existing post. I said very simply. To follow this method you will find related info articles of your money articles. Then the site owner will offer to link your article to that post because yours is more informative and valuable. Edit links are sometimes available for a fee. Edit links are also known by many as curated links.

3rd step: Secret Links and Others

To be honest, there is no such step as secret links. This is a method by which you will find the link sources of your competitor and see that many of the links from where he took the link are easy for you. And since he has been able to take, so can you. So, this is how I tried to get the link by saying secret links here. You can also find more such sources in your way for link building. They are also valuable.

Besides, the other means – you can find more off-page sources if you want. Or you can work with other existing methods which I have not mentioned here. Such as Skyscraper Link Building, WikiLinks, Roundup Link Building… etc.

Niche Site Plan: Timeline

So far I have tried to talk about the planning steps. Now a time frame will be set for using or editing the steps. This is the basic planning. The more you can do this plan correctly, the more successful you will be. Let’s take a look at the steps:

1st month: Nice idea generation + buying domains and hosting + keyword research.

2nd month: To make ready article instructions and order placed + website design + publish minimum 4-6 money articles.

3rd month: Publish minimum 12-18 informative articles + 5 social profiles and authority profile creation and homepage backlinking + google webmaster setup + sitemap submission + google analytics setup + some social shares + 2/3 blog comments at daily basis.

4th month: Follow the ratio to publish more money articles and info articles + 10 social profiles and 20 authority profile creations and homepage backlinks + 2/3 blog comments every day.

5th month: Update the articles (it is better to do the update every month. Especially the money articles) + Social share of the articles on the site. Note that the social shares have to be regularized as soon as the article is given on the site. Without sharing all the articles at once, it is better to share them one by one every day maintaining rules + 2/3 blog comments daily + publish 10  posts on the 10 authority sites. Very good if the articles are qualitative. If you want, you can create some related forum profiles and increase the activity in the forum, even if it is regular, it is better. Of course, I don’t like forum type links personally. Many times thousands of backlinks are made from one root link of the forum. Which can cause harm.

6th month: Create 10 Web 2.0 blogs on selected 10 Web 2.0 sites. You can make every blog tire two. Then link to your site from each blog. To be more secure, link money articles, info articles, and homepages with ratio + don’t forget to do social share of articles from the main site + 2/3 blog comments regularly.

7th month: Guest posts will start from this month. Do guest posts very slowly. Maximum 4 per month for homepages (only if you post for homepages) and a maximum of 2 for money articles. So in the first month, you can do 2 for the homepage and 1 for each money article + regular social share + 2/3 daily blog comment.

8th month: Continue the Guest posts according to the above rules + you can try for edit links and secret links + regularize social shares + 2/3 blog comments each day.

9th month: First follow-up – Notice the follow-up of the site for the first time. In other words, detect the position of the site with tools like Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, etc. You can monitor the position of the keywords with Surfox or similar tools. Depending on this monitoring, the next step has to be taken. For example, how many more articles should be given on the site, how many guest posts should be made, whether basic link building is needed anymore, how positive the position of keywords and articles are, etc. If you have an existing Amazon affiliate account, you can place an affiliate link on the site at the end of the third month. And if you don’t have an Amazon affiliate account, but at least 30+ articles on the site and most of them are info articles. And then wait for at least 500+ traffic to come to the site every month. Then apply for an Amazon account. Hopefully, the account will get approval quickly.

10th month: You will start working from this month depending on the result you got from the follow-up last month. For example, how many more articles will be needed on the site and the number of guest posts. However, in my opinion, it is better to fix the number of articles in article planning. So this month you can try to publish the article in this way by calculating the ratio + 2 guest posts + edit links and secret links + social share + 2/3 blog comments every day.

11th month: Publish new articles + guest posts +  try for edit and secret links + social shares + 2/3 blog comments per day.

12th month: Publish new articles + guest posts +  try for edit and secret links + social shares + 2/3 blog comments per day.

13th month: Second follow-up – A completely positive result is expected from this month’s follow-up. From this result, you can decide how long the site can be flipped (if you want to flip then.)

14th month: There is no such task in this month. Continue site follow-up. See article update. Product availability check should start from the week after placing the affiliate link on the site. You have to check at least once a week whether all the products are available or not. Moreover, at the end of the sixth month, you have to pay attention to product quality. And in the ninth/tenth month, especially during the first follow-up, you have to see if the keywords have been sold at the rate at which the rank has been. If not, then product quality and article quality should be checked by an expert. However, it is better to be sure about the article quality at the beginning. But product quality has to be checked at that time. If necessary, the product must be replaced.

15th month: I think, if all of the above is ok, you can be pretty sure this month that the site will flip in the next few days. But usually, after 12 months it can be sure. I am so in the case of my site. I hope you can too if you perfectly do the timeline and work that way dedicatedly.

Overall Summary

I think I have cleared the matter of planning in this article. Now your responsibility is to make a lineup of these issues in an Excel sheet. You can arrange this lineup according to month or category. Or you can combine both. It totally depends on you. I’ve combined the two here to create a timeline.

How beautifully and easily you set up a timeline, will clarify how much you really know and how dedicated you are to be successful. So, justify/ explore yourself.

Stay good, stay happy. Happy Affiliate Marketing!
